Am I allowed to keep a single rabbit?

Rabbits are sociable animals and should be kept in groups whenever possible. Although keeping rabbits individually is not (yet) prohibited in Switzerland, as it is for example already the case for guinea pigs. However, living together with other rabbits is absolutely recommended for an animal-friendly and happy rabbit life.
