How many dogs may I keep?

The number of dogs is regulated by the canton. There is a duty to clarify in the canton of residence by the dog owner. In the canton of Bern, for example, dog ownership has been limited to a maximum of three dogs. A dog owner must be able to offer each dog sufficient space, exercise, care and food.
