Cats - Q&A's

zurück

My cat was injured by a dog, who pays the costs?

If you can prove by which dog your cat was bitten, you can contact the dog owner. Then the liability insurance of the dog owner must pay for the costs. If you do not know by whom your cat was bitten, consult your insurance company. Depending on the coverage, they may also pay. It is also possible to take out "health insurance" for animals. Depending on the contract, the insurance will then pay for the costs.
