The DodoBahati Foundation and Congohounds will also present themselves at the animal welfare market:
The DodoBahati* Foundation was founded in autumn 2014 with the aim of contributing to the protection of wildlife and nature reserves worldwide and actively supporting projects that pursue these goals. Dr. med. vet. Marlene Zähner became well known through her involvement in Virunga National Park and the establishment of the anti-poaching dog team "Congohounds" (documented in the documentary film " The Woman with the Bloodhounds"), but also supervises children's projects and a project to protect sea turtles on the Cape Verde Islands. Until today, she is the woman for everything (project manager, secretary, fundraiser etc) and also offers mantrailing courses to earn her living.
Offers at the booth: information material about the projects, calendar 2020, and various articles and handicrafts directly from Virunga.
Dr. Marlene Zähner: "I am happy to meet people who are close to animal and species protection. To exchange ideas with them and, of course, to talk about the projects of my heart".
