Animal shelters become high-quality transition stations for homeless animals, where animals are kept and promoted in a way that is appropriate for theis species and finally transferred to good new places. Ins Switzerland as well as worldwide.

The Susy Utzinger animal welfare foundation supports and carries out neutering projects in various countries on an ongoing basis. In this way, the suffering of animals is slowed down, slowly but steadily and sustainably.

The aim of the Professional Association of Animal Welfare Switzerland - VATS is to coordinate and promote the professional and further training of animal welfare specialists in Switzerland. The profession "animal welfare specialist" is to become known and to improve the employment opportunities of professionals in the labour market. Our members work as animal welfare specialists in all areas where the keeping of animals and their handling is concerned in a broader sense and/or where specific expertise on the subject of "animal welfare" is required to fulfil their tasks.
