The SUST presents its Egypt projects at the animal welfare market: The desert animal shelter Bluemoon Animal Center and the SUST Animal Orphans Hospital in Hurghada are two large and important projects in an area where countless animals are in urgent need of protection and help.
The Animal Orphans Hospital provides shelter and free veterinary treatment for injured, sick and abandoned street animals. Castrations are carried out during the time when no emergencies are treated. Thousands of animals have been treated, operated on, castrated and nursed back to health since the opening of this hospital in 2016.
In addition, the SUST supports the desert animal shelter Bluemoon Animal Center with a sponsorship program and can thus finance part of the wages and animal feed. The founder of the Bluemoon Animal Center, Monique Carrera, will be personally present at the SUST animal protection market: "I am looking forward to meeting many godparents of our animal shelter animals, but also to being able to tell many new interested animal friends about our work in Egypt".
--> At 11.30 a.m. Monique Carrera will give a lecture about her everyday animal welfare work in Egypt.
