KYMA also introduces itself and its work to the animal welfare market:
KYMA will be present on the animal welfare market with an information stand on the subject of fish consumption. In Switzerland, over 70,000 tonnes of fish, crustaceans and molluscs are eaten every year. In view of the progressive overfishing of our oceans, the brutal destruction of habitats, the immense animal suffering and the health risks of fish consumption, KYMA appeals to all consumers to give the oceans a break: www.kyma-sea.org/pause. We provide information material, look forward to lively discussions and sell useful products that make everyday life more sustainable.

KYMA sea conservation & research is a young marine conservation organisation based in Zurich. Founded in 2019, it aims to inspire people to think about how we deal with and influence animals and nature, to inspire them to take action, to generate knowledge about marine animals and to implement conservation projects. Volunteers can participate in the research project in Sicily, where KYMA conducts annual expeditions on a sailing boat. The aim of the project is to study the distribution and behaviour of whales, dolphins, sea turtles and large fish in the waters off Sicily.
