A car accident is in many cases the death sentence for a street cat, because nobody wants to pay for the veterinary costs.
After being hit by a car, tabby Gizi managed to drag herself to the edge of the road, where she was found by a young couple. She was taken to the SUST animal orphan hospital in Budapest (Hungary) with a destroyed eye and a fractured jaw. In an extensive operation, the jaw was fixed and the ruined eye removed. Thanks to the fast action of the finders and the professional medication in the SUST animal orphan hospital, all injuries have healed. Gizi currently lives with her finders, where she can either stay forever or from where she can be found a good home.
The SUST covers the veterinary costs for injured street animals, which are treated in the SUST animal orphan hospitals. We can only do this with your help: Please support us with a donation! https://www.susyutzinger.ch/donate
