Our expertise and many years of experience in dealing with pets are continuously processed in our information series "Animal welfare through proper action". In our free brochures, pet owners and animal lovers will find important tips and tricks for keeping, protecting and caring for our four-legged friends.

This week, the puddles filled up...

The Leptospira bacteria (the causative agents of the potentially deadly infectious disease leptospirosis) thrive in these warm and humid conditions! Therefore, currently and unfortunately dangerous: Leptospirosis in dogs! If a dog drinks from such a puddle, it directly ingests the Leptospira bacteria, which can be life-threatening for the dog! The initial symptoms of a leptospirosis infection are shown in the infographic! If you suspect a leptospirosis infection, you should immediately consult a veterinarian! Humans can also become infected! Detailed information can be found here:
