Our expertise and many years of experience in dealing with pets are continuously processed in our information series "Animal welfare through proper action". In our free brochures, pet owners and animal lovers will find important tips and tricks for keeping, protecting and caring for our four-legged friends.

SUST-Tierschutzeinsatz in Aegypten

März 2019

SUST-Tierarzt Dr. Markus Trächsel (Tierklinik Rhenus, Flurlingen) unterstützt dieses Projekt seit 15 Jahren und bildet auch in diesem Einsatz seine KollegInnen im SUST-Tierwaisenhospitals@Bluemoon auf wichtigen Gebieten weiter.

Zusätzlich bilden unsere Fachkräfte unter der Leitung von Dr. Markus Trächsel verschiedene ägyptische Gast-Tierärzte weiter und kümmern sich um die täglich neu eingelieferten heimatlosen Tiere im Tierwaisen-Hospital.

Der zweite Teil des SUST-Teams arbeitet im Wüstentierheim Bluemoon Animal Center und unterstützt die gleichzeitig laufende Kastrationsaktion für Strassenhunde und -katzen.

SUST-Leiterin Susy Utzinger und Projektleiterin Monique Carrera führen daneben erhandlungen und politische Gespräche, verhandeln Futterpreise und -einkäufe, führen Besprechungen mit TierschützerInnen vor Ort, besprechen Optimierungen und stellen Pläne für weitere Projekte auf die Beine.

Auch ein Besuch bei den Patenhunden und -katzen aus dem Patenschaftsprogramm SUST-Bluemoon Animal Center darf natürlich nicht fehlen.
