Whoever believes that there is animal misery due to overpopulation only in foreign countries, is tremendously wrong. On many farms in Switzerland cats find enough food and reproduce unhindered thanks to these favourable conditions. The timely neutering of the animals is often neglected because it is too cumbersome and expensive. If the population gets out of control (which is very fast with unneutered cats), surplus animals are often "eliminated" in a not exactly humane way.
That there is another way is proven by the many farmers who are convinced of the advantages of a controlled cat population on their farm and have their animals neutered by us. In this way, several hundred cats can be spared from unwanted offspring in cooperation with volunteers and veterinarians throughout Switzerland.
These castration campaigns are financed by donations. Please help us to prevent animal suffering before it occurs!
