Attention: The heat turns parked vehicles into death traps for children and dogs!
Unfortunately, we can't mention it enough:
The deadly danger of heatstroke is often underestimated. Even at a mild 15°C outside temperature, the interior of an unprotected parked car heats up to 50°C and more. Also cars, which stood just still in the shade, can be seized after some time by the sun and become so the death trap for the dog locked in it. Besides note: A gap-width opened window does not carry out any cooling! Within shortest time the quadruped suffers a heat stroke, which often ends fatally.
We at SUST regularly draw attention to the problem and inform dog owners with posters and flyers.
Do you also want to support our campaign and save lives?
You can order posters and flyers free of charge from our foundation. To bring the issue directly to the people on the ground, the posters can be distributed and placed by anyone where this danger could threaten and the operator has authorized the hanging.
Note:
Whoever leaves his animal alone in the car in the sun, is liable to prosecution for cruelty to animals!
In such cases, each of us can become active, because the animals are dependent on the help of courageous passers-by in this life-threatening situation. Report a corresponding observation immediately to the police.
