Also the squirrel station Bülach presents itself at the animal protection market
For more than 20 years, the squirrel station Bülach has been taking in wild animals, raising them, caring for them and letting them return to nature.
Eva Karrer gives exciting insights into the everyday life of the station at her market stall and tells about her many experiences during this long and interesting time. So many wild animals have made their way across the station and found their way back - and they always have their own stories - their own fates - their own personalities. Brochures provide information on how and when to help a young animal - what to do in an emergency and how to help. With films and photos it is shown what has been done and achieved, sad and beautiful things and she tells about each foundling very personally. Wild animal children are different from pet children and yet so similar in so many ways.
Mostly they are very traumatized when they are found. Left alone for days when the mother dies, injured, full of parasites and actually finished with life.
"It is always incredible when such a small wild animal nestles hopefully in the warmth of our hands and falls asleep trustingly"
They need our help, our affection and our protection!
Playful, humorous, curious and eager to learn, these children try to master their lives. Let us help them! So that they can later survive freely and wildly in our nature again.
