The Animal Rescue Service also presents itself and its work at the SUST Animal Welfare Market
"Susy Utzinger is not only involved in her own foundation for animals in need, but also as president of the board of trustees of the Animal Rescue Service Foundation. Together, we pursue the goal of reducing animal suffering and enabling the weakest to have a better future. As we have had a good cooperation with the SUST for years, we are very happy to be part of the animal welfare market".
"We will be on site with our rescue vehicle and bring our work for animals in need closer to the visitors. We offer the possibility to explore our rescue vehicle playfully and to dive into the everyday life of an animal rescue driver. In addition we will have our sales articles (plush dog, cup and cloth bag) as well as appropriate information material (brochures, flyers, current animal mediations etc.) with us."

Whether injured, deported or even abandoned - the Animal Rescue Service is always there when animals need help. Animals get into trouble for various reasons. Dogs, cats and other pets that have walked in, been abandoned or injured, as well as weakened and injured wild animals, form the normal everyday life of the Animal Rescue Service. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the emergency centre receives calls for help and takes care of animals in distress. If necessary, they are provided with first aid by the animal rescue service and transported to the nearest veterinarian or animal hospital. Wild animals are taken as quickly as possible to specialised reception centres. Animals that are abandoned or have come to the animals are rescued and accommodated in the Pfötli animal shelter. Here they are nursed up, cared for and lovingly cared for until they are placed in a new place in life. The Animal Rescue Service is active in the Canton of Zurich and in neighbouring areas.
At 4 p.m. the Animal Rescue Service will give a lecture and report on its work.
