Animal New Year's Eve horror

For animals, our loud and colourful celebration at the turn of the year often means sheer horror. They panic from the banging and whistling, which is incomprehensible to them, and can hardly be calmed down.

We have tips for you to get through the New Year's Eve with your furry noses unharmed:

- Secure your dogs with a well-fitting harness and a leash
- Put cats under house arrest in the morning
- In case of extreme anxiety, get appropriate medication from the vet
- Earplugs are taboo for pets
- Have cats chipped
- Collar provided with contact details for quick identification
- Create background noise: Radio and TV can be a little louder.
- Closing windows and shutters
