The 4 pillars of the foundation (SUST)

Animal welfare with heart and mind
These four elements form the important base to sustainable animal welfare projects.

Those animals that are not yet able to benefit from the effects of this reconstruction work and have been born into a world where they are not wanted, need the emergency aid of SUST.

ANIMAL WELFARE MARKET ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 26, 2020

Redog RG Zurich

Redog RG Zürich also presents itself and its work on the animal welfare market:
REDOG RG ZH is also a humanitarian organisation dependent on donations and congratulates the Susy Utzinger Animal Welfare Foundation on its 20th anniversary. We have been present at SUST events before, and REDOG also supports animal protection with heart and mind.

At our stand we show what REDOG is, does and can do with photos and video presentations. REDOG will also be presented in a short lecture. Additionally we distribute brochures / flyers about our activities. At our stand we sell REDOG cuddly dogs and collect donations in our "Piggybank".

At 14.30 REDOG will give a lecture and present their work.

Learn more about the activities of Redog RG Zürich: www.redog.ch/zuerich/

REDOG is the Swiss association for search and rescue dogs. For over 40 years we have been volunteering around the clock all year round. The Zurich Regional Group has over 60 members and was founded in 1971. We train disaster dog teams, terrain search dog teams and mantrailing teams and use the dog noses and their excellent smelling ability. The training at RG Zurich is as follows: disaster training twice a week, terrain search training once a month and mantrailing once a week at various locations in the canton and adjacent areas. We carry out examinations and tests in order to guarantee the quality of the teams. With much joy and commitment we train dog handlers. The training takes 3-4 years until a team is operational. Until then it must have passed numerous tests and attended courses.
