Bitch Kahlo was lying motionless at the roadside, her face full of blood. At first sight it looked as if she was already dead. But on closer inspection passers-by recognized that she was still alive and brought her to the SUST Animal Orphan Hospital@Bluemoon Clinic. Under anaesthesia we saw with horror that the corners of her mouth were slit on both sides. Since she had no other injuries, we have to assume that this was done to her by an animal torturer. We can think of nothing else that could cause such injuries.

In the clinic we sewed up the wounds and meanwhile she is already feeling better. But it will still take quite a while until she will be physically completely healthy again. It remains to be seen how she will cope mentally with the whole thing.
