Unfortunately, such things still happen with us.
She was brought to us from Braila, a town near Galati. There was a tight wire wrapped around her hind leg.
Fortunately, the person who saved her was able to cut and remove the wire. But because the leg had been so severely strangled for several days, it was very swollen and inflamed. Now she is in treatment with us.
We were very relieved when she started to put weight on the leg. For us this means that we will continue to try to save it. Amputation is always the last option for us. Please keep your fingers crossed for this little miracle. Although the puppy has been plagued by humans, it is extremely friendly to us. He feels that he is now in the right place.
I cannot emphasize enough that the rescue of this little bitch is teamwork: Without you we could not do all this.
Happy New Year, dear friends.
